John Turner helps students from many backgrounds, and at many stages from beginner to advanced, learn what the Bible says and what is means in their lives. He starts with the questions, needs, and learning style of the student. He uses his extensive knowledge of historical background, literary structure, word study, and Bible theology and makes the scriptures come alive for you. Spiritual Formation
Spiritual formation deals with questions such as, How can I know God better and grow closer to God? How can I experience God's presence in my daily life? How can I better "hear" what God is saying to me? How can I become more Christ-like in my thoughts, attitudes, and actions? How can I discover what God wants me to do with my life?
John and Judy will talk with you about your desire to grow spiritually, and will put together a plan based on your needs and goals, including Bible mentoring, spiritual direction, and perhaps life coaching, ministry coaching, and prayer for inner healing.
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is the centuries-old tradition of one Christian listening with another Christian for the direction of the Holy Spirit. Judy listens with individuals for God's invitation to grow spiritually. She suggests ways of praying and spiritual practices which lead to a deeper relationship with God. She prays with people in overcoming obstacles to loving and serving God. Judy offers spiritual direction ministry during 60 minute sessions. The sessions can be scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis, or during a spiritual retreat.
Judy can also lead you through a process for growth in Christ called the "Spiritual Exercises in Daily Life".
