Becoming a Member of Christview Ministries
What does it mean to become a member of Christview Ministries?
1. You desire to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and in your Christian service.
As a member, you commit to:
- practice regularly the disciplines of prayer and Bible study
- identify your unique spiritual gifts
- seek God’s calling to a personal mission
- develop your skills for fulfilling that calling
2. You want to see more spiritual leaders, and better equipped leaders, serving the church of Jesus Christ.
As a member, you commit to support the mission of Christview Ministries through:
- praying for Christview Ministries
- telling others about Christview Ministries
- giving time, money, and other resources to Christview Ministries, as God leads
What benefit is there in becoming a member?
- The membership commitments will enhance your spiritual growth.
- Christview Ministries will recommend resources and events that aid your growth, your identifying of your spiritual gifts and calling, and your development of skills for effectively serving Christ.
- You will have the joy of helping others to develop as spiritual leaders.
- You will be part of a spiritual renewal movement in the church!
What is the process for becoming a member?
- Read our Purpose Statement and Core Beliefs.
- Review the “Christview Membership Covenant,” and submit it.
Christview Membership Covenant
- I affirm the purpose and core beliefs of Christview Ministries.
- I commit to growing in knowledge of and likeness to Jesus Christ through the regular practice of the spiritual disciplines of prayer and Bible study.
- I commit to discerning my personal mission and to equipping myself to fulfill this calling from God.
- I will pray regularly for Christview Ministries.
- I will tell others who would benefit from knowing about Christview Ministries.
- I will give of my financial resources, as I am able, and as God leads.
